In an ever-changing market where competition in personal care and cosmetics is intense, Somatoline sought to increase its visibility and better target its audience. With a clear focus on visible results and a loyal customer base, Somatoline wanted to expand its reach and attract new customers.


    Seasonal 360° branding campaign

    ONELINE developed a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to strengthen Somatoline’s market position in the body cosmetics sector. The focus was on targeted YouTube ads for high reach, effective social media campaigns, innovative newsletter marketing in combination with a lead generation competition and creative display ads with customised HTML5 banners. These measures were intended to renew brand perception and specifically maximise digital reach.

    YouTube Ads are a powerful tool to reach a broad and targeted audience through visual and emotional appeal. This form of advertising utilises YouTube’s enormous reach and diverse demographic options to deliver tailored messages to the right viewers.

    We had two versions of the official commercial video available. To achieve the best possible performance, we carried out A/B testing of the two video versions at the beginning. Thanks to precise targeting, our campaigns achieved over 4 million impressions and 1.5 million target group-orientated reach. The average CPM was CHF 8, which enabled a cost-efficient reach.

    Social Media Ads

    Social media ads on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram are a powerful way to reach a broad and engaged audience. This form of advertising allows companies to deliver their messages directly to relevant users through precise targeting and engaging visual content. By utilising extensive data and demographic information, campaigns can be designed to achieve maximum impact and high interaction rates.

    We created specific campaigns for the various Somatoline products, bilingual in French and German, to cover both language areas in Switzerland. After setup, we closely monitored performance and carried out ongoing optimisations. Thanks to this approach, we realised almost 13 million impressions and over half a million target group-specific reach. With an average CPM of CHF 2.50, we were able to ensure a high level of campaign efficiency.

    Display Ads

    Display ads are an important component of digital marketing, allowing companies to spread their messages in a visually appealing way across a variety of websites and platforms. This type of advertising uses graphic elements to attract the attention of the target group and encourage them to interact. By being placed on high-reach websites and utilising precise targeting, display ads can be effective in increasing brand awareness and generating clicks.

    We created bilingual display ads for two of Somatoline’s key account customers: SUN STORE for French-speaking Switzerland and AMAVITA for German-speaking Switzerland. Using customised HTML5 banners, we successfully generated traffic for these online shops and at the same time drew attention to special promotions. This measure was extremely successful, as it not only helped to strengthen Somatoline’s brand awareness, but also created added value for the two key account partners. A real win-win situation.

    In this measure, we utilised the synergy of two extremely effective marketing strategies: Newsletter marketing and competitions to generate leads. Competitions on our win4win.ch platform are ideal for generating leads, while targeted newsletters make it possible to place messages directly in the mailboxes of interested individuals. The campaign was aimed exclusively at women. Thanks to our extensive data pool, we were able to send the newsletter specifically to female recipients. The result exceeded our expectations and we generated three times more leads than originally anticipated.
