    Peak-End Rule

    The peak-end rule states that people tend to remember the extreme and the end of an experience. In web design, this means that the first impression and the end of an interaction should be particularly positive. An appealing layout, fast loading times and intuitive user guidance at the beginning as well as a smooth completion of processes such as purchases or registrations help to ensure that users remember the website fondly and are more likely to return.
