A classic 360° web project from a single source from ONELINE. The goal was formulated from the beginning: The new online presence of VOLVO Baar should reach the next level but one.
The concept was developed in close cooperation with Hüsser & Palkoska. Based on a workshop, the focal points, priorities, and goals were clearly defined. A central focus was on the customer. The customer should feel comfortable on the website from the beginning and easily reach his goal. Furthermore, the web structure should be designed in such a way that, in addition to the vehicles, the extensive range of services, including contact options, is also presented appealingly.
Hüsser & Palkoska is a car dealership with tradition in Zug. The relationship with the customers is close and extends partly over family generations. In addition, VOLVO is considered to be a brand that has placed a special focus on safety and sustainability over the years. The web design team had the task to convey these values unmistakably in the new web design. Finally, the new unique design was created from a cocktail of different design proposals in constant exchange with Hüsser & Palkoska.
The WordPress-based CMS was programmed in-house and customized. Besides various animations, the system is multilingual and includes various interfaces. Furthermore, different contact forms are built in. The structure of the backend allows high flexibility for editing the content and landing pages.

The VOLVO Baar website has various interfaces to external tools and partners.
For this web project, the implementation of the AutoScout24 API was of particular importance. Hüsser & Palkoska manages the existing vehicle stock via AutoScout. This means that a connection to it is needed for automatic data entry. An interface that avoids the repeated entry of the same vehicle data.
When implementing the interfaces, we went one step further than the standard integration. To optimally map the subcategories of new cars, demonstration cars, and used cars, specific scripts were additionally integrated. Thus, the vehicle inventory of the corresponding subcategory can be displayed directly via Autoscout.
